Name: Alice Flores Obituary: May 30, 1924 - Feb. 25, 2010 Alice Katherine Flores of Napa, California, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the age of 85. Alice was born in Corning, California on May 30, 1924 to George and Elizabeth Baumback. She had an older sister, the late June Williams. Alice grew up in Chico and graduated from Chico High School in 1942. Alice lived and worked in San Francisco for several years before she married the late Ralph Flores of Napa, California. They managed a mobile home park in Napa while traveling the United States and visiting many countries throughout Europe. Alice's hobbies included crafts, bingo, and a love for Betty Boop and collecting her specialty items. Alice can be remembered for her pleasant disposition, her great sense of humor and her sweet, cheerful giggle. It was always a pleasure to spend time with Alice as she had a gift for making people feel comfortable. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Flores in 1984. Alice is survived by her niece, Donna Roninger of Chico and family, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Alice is being laid to rest at Glen Oaks Memorial Park in Chico where a private family service will be held.
